During his visit, Yevhen Kolyada, Chair of the charitable organisation ‘Coordination Humanitarian Centre’, held meetings with representatives of businesses, investors and ad hoc donors to discuss the strategy for Ukraine’s reconstruction and development. “The URC is not just about funding reconstruction.

It is, first and foremost, about people and partnerships that help create sustainable solutions for communities. Civil society is one of the key players in these processes today,” said Yevhen Kolyada.

During the meetings, particular attention was paid to the digital solutions that the Co-ordinating Humanitarian Centre is developing in collaboration with state institutions, as well as to the role of the charitable sector in creating long-term opportunities for people who have been forced to leave their homes due to the war. The conference also discussed models of cooperation between the state, the business sector and civil society.

The agreements reached have already formed the basis for further work on joint initiatives.
