The BRIDGE Forum is a leading event in Ukraine’s charitable and humanitarian sector, bringing together leaders and specialists from international and national organisations, representatives of central government, local authorities, the diplomatic corps, the business community and expert circles.
The forum served as a platform for substantive discussion of the challenges shaping the future architecture of humanitarian response in Ukraine. The focus was on effective coordination of actions, strengthening the role of local organisations, transparency in management decisions, and the implementation of technological tools capable of improving the quality of assistance to the population.

Key thematic areas included:

Systemic synergy in crisis conditions: the distribution of mandates among evacuation actors, tools for collecting and analysing the needs of evacuees, and approaches to improving the operation of transit centres.

BRIDGE 2.0: presentation of the updated national platform for humanitarian aid analysis and coordination, aimed at improving the sector’s transparency, coherence and responsiveness.

Localisation and strategic partnerships: funding mechanisms for the local sector, engagement with institutional donors, and the development of sustainable cooperation models.

Panel on opportunities for NGOs: consultations with partners, establishing strategic contacts and creating new coalitions.

Discussions also covered the transformation of the humanitarian architecture, the ethical and operational aspects of humanitarian workers’ work in high-risk areas, as well as the role of the private sector and the specifics of building professional communication with business.
In this round-up, we share the thoughts and conclusions of the participants — the perspectives that are shaping the future of Ukraine’s humanitarian sector today.
