Strong Local Organizations — Stronger Communities

The event marking the launch of the first allocation from the BRIDGE Fund served as a forum for networking, sharing experiences, and discussing how to develop the local sector over the long term.

“Partnership has always been extremely important to our organization—it is one of our core values,” notes Yevhen Kolyada, chairman of the Charitable Organization «RCC.»

Support provided through the BRIDGE Fund goes beyond simply funding individual projects. It offers organizations the opportunity to strengthen their management and leadership capacities, work on financial sustainability, and improve their approaches to addressing the needs of people and communities.

An important part of this ecosystem is the BRIDGE platform—a digital tool that guides organizations through various stages of engagement, from application submission to reporting. It helps make the process of obtaining support more transparent and accessible for local CSOs.

At the same time, the sector’s development is not driven solely by financial resources. Professional connections, trust, and the opportunity to exchange experiences are equally important. It is precisely in such an environment that new ideas, joint solutions, and partnerships emerge—ones that can extend far beyond the scope of a single project.

One organization’s practices can be useful to another; a shared challenge can serve as a reason to come together; and a local initiative can form the basis for broader collaboration.
