Grant competition in the field of emergency response for the Bridge to Life-Saving Efforts project

The grant competition is being held as part of the “Bridge to Life-Saving Efforts” project, with the support of the Government of the United States of America.

Project Objective

To support local organisations and communities operating in the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Sumy, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions by developing and implementing practical solutions that meet current needs, ensure the protection of the population, and are sustainable in the long term.

Grant amount: up to 5,000,000 UAH.

Eligibility criteria

An organisation that is officially registered in accordance with the laws of Ukraine “On Public Associations”, “On Charitable Activities and Charitable Organisations” or “On Associations of Local Self-Government Bodies” and included in the “Register of Non-Profit Organisations” with the relevant non-profit status (0032, 0036, 0038, 0039);
the organisation has been registered for at least 1 year prior to the date of the grant competition; the organisation has the operational capacity to implement the project;
the organisation has an appropriate financial management and accounting system, and the capacity to report and undergo an audit;
the organisation has no tax debts and is not on any sanctions lists;
the organisation operates in the emergency response sector to support life-saving and public protection efforts;
the organisation or community carries out activities or plans to implement a project in the following regions of Ukraine: Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Sumy, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv and Kherson.
The deadline for applications is 15 June 2026
